Do you have more information about this error? Error message from Windows Error Viewer will be helpful. Try to check if the following help.
1- Launch VuGen as administrator
2- Go to Recording Options – Database and click on Advanced button
3- Change Trace file detail level and ASCII file detail level to Off
4- Try to record again.
