Would still like copy/paste of steps between scripts, funtion libraries can be overkill for simple things.
Also, function libraries seem to have serious shortcomings in the ALM environment... it appears a global library is not stored in ALM (why?) so if multiple users edit the same script they have to coordinate having a shared file system. This is hard to manage and sometimes just not possible. And after all, isn't that why we have ALM, to be the central repository?
Also, what happens in the load generators when the script runs... do they also have to have the same shared file system available for the global library?
But to the point of this thread, copy/paste between scripts is still a very useful feature - please don't assume function libraries are sufficient!
Thanks!
