We have encountered an issue on the LR 12 Vugen replay going through a proxy.
These are the steps that we took,
1. Record a script over a proxy server on I.E browser - Goes well.
2. Immediately Replay with the Proxy Custom Settings (Same proxy details as on I.E is on Vugen) - Works well.
3. Wait for 3 or more minutes
4. Replay again - Fails with errors (Proxy Authentication Required). All the settings remain the same on Vugen.
5. Open the I.E browser, access any website (same proxy server setting).
6. Now replay on Vugen - Works again, goes well.
Very odd! Liasoning with the network team here, we inferred that the VUGen might be authenticating for the first time by sending in the proxy settings, and after a idle period it sends the proxy settings on request no more. But, the proxy server is still expecting the authentication details. I am not sure where the problem rests, but would like someone to comment.
However, when we enable WinInet option in the runtime preferences, it works without any issue. However, it has been stated that winInet is not scalable, and might have issues under heavy load.
Any idea on where to look to fix this issue is greatly appreciated.
