You can try using Protocol Advisor to check if there will be some suggestions. 

The choice of the protocol  however will depend on the the technologies it was developed with and the communication protocol the application is using.

If you upgrade to LoadRunner 11.52 or 12.01 you will be able to try using Proxy recording. Please check the following post:
