I have a specific question on LR 11.52 with TruClient for FF. We have an internal web based application that either uses single sign on or allows a username name password to be passed by, this occurs if the browser is setup with SSO. We are also using the parameter feature for username, and have populated the parameter with ten known good user names.
Ok question is - we have a few scripts created in the TruClient-FireFox protocol that function fine in the vugen and even the controller, but only 1 at a time. if more than 1 user is added to the run the extra users typically fails. If we have a gap of about 1 minute they will start to pass, note that gab is about when a run is complete.
The twist is if you manually open two Firefox windows only the 1st one shows the prompt for user name and password, once entered both sessions will advanced pass the log in page. Question is - I thought TruClient didn’t use actual browsers during the test runs rather it pushes html code to the servers? BUT either way is there a way to work around this issue in LR? We are using another product from a competitor with good results BUT would rather use LR.
Sidenote is there a way in Load Runner with TC to fargo the parameter option and have multple vugen users login with the same user ID?
