On general installation of NV is divided to 2 segments. NV for Controller & NV for Load Generator.
NV for Controller will be installed on Controller machine,
NV for LG - can be installed on Controller machine for running emulation on localhost OR installed on LG machine.
Notice: license should be implemented only on Controller machine.
At this stage installation can be on OS: Win 7/Win2008R2 and not on OS 8.1 or Win2012R2.
Also machine with IE11 is not supported - if you have such a browser and want to run on IE - please downgrade (by uninstall under Control panel->Programs->Uninstall a program->View Installed updates) the IE11 to IE10 or IE11.
Supported browsers are:
Firefox 10.0.2, 11.0, 13.0,
Chrome 17.0,18.0, 20.0,
Safari 5.0.5, 5.1, 5.1.7,
Internet Explorer 8.0, 9.0, 10.0.
Except this all prerequisites of LoadRunner are enough for NV.
