Hi Srini,
LR 12.00 did not support windows 10. This support was introdcued only in the latest 12.53 version, so this is probably the root cause of your problem.
I suggest you install LR 12.53 (Latest GA release) on your windows 10 64b machine, try again and let us know if all is working.
