Could you tell me where did you put the sript to log out or terminate SAP session?

 

If you put it in vuser_end, then run the test with duration, the action part will be repeated and the session will be increased.

Please create a parameter with a set of values (like 1,2,3,4...), change the Update value on to "Each Occurrece", loop the step which has evalXPath.

 

Please check the sample script, it may help.

What version of Vugen you are using?

 

Firefox version of LR is built-in version.

 

VuGen 11.0 comes with Firefox 3

VUGen 11.5 comes with Firefox 8

VuGen 12.0 comes with Firefox 22

 

If you are using old VuGen version, your application may not work with Firefox old version, please try with VuGen 12.0

 

Anyway, I made a quick try with this url and it worked fine: http://www.asp.net/AjaxLibrary/AjaxControlToolkitSampleSite/ModalPopup/ModalPopup.aspx

 

If your application available somewhere, please share so I can try.

Was there any response back on this issue?   We are about to embark on similar POC for Chrome and Vugen (http/html).

If Google Chrome gets hang, seems like you are facing with permission issue.

Please make sure you disabled DEP, UAC and has full administrator rights.

Actually I found the "Detach" button at the top of the TruClient pane. That moves the pane into its own window and the modal dialog problem does not happen. As long as I run this way, it works well (short of crashing FireFox every once in a while...)

 

Using VuGen 11.52

 

And I see that the FF that is launched is version 8.0.1... I assumed it was the same as the version I run from the desktop; did not realize that VuGen bundled it's own.

Firefox version 8.0 is quite old, I don't think it is the same version from your Desktop, please make a try with VuGen 12.0

The version is 11.5. I was going to edit my initial post but wasn't able to. The protocol I used is WebHTTP, not Web Service. Here is the log, it doesn't tell me much at all.

 

Have you seen my other post after this first post? In that script,  I used Web Service protocol instead, but still got some other error.

Hi,

 

Thanks for your information.

 

Please refer this link: http://www.wilsonmar.com/1lrscript.htm. It mentioned that you will see message 'Error -- Unresolved symbol' if you don't include the correct library when you use a function from that library.

As you used Web(HTTP/HTML)protocol so it does not have the library that can understand 'soap_request'.

The library that can understand 'soap_request' is in Web service protocol.

So could you please try to record with Web service protocol and 'soad_request' (not 'web_service_call' in your other post )?

Can not see the relevant pages in the test results

The script is recorded and played successfully. But when I look at the test results I do not see the relevant pages only homepage is shown.I am using Web/HTML protocal.

 

 

Am I allowed to post the URL of the website in this forum?

How are you? 

 

 

I am a LoadRunner Support representative and I will be researching acording to your question / Concern.  However what is the version of LoadRunner? 

 

Do you have full admin rights during the recording and replaying process of the AUT (Application Under Test)?

 

The Test Results is a QTP feature which was incorporated to the Vugen Component as a good idea to see every step status and display the recorded and replayed of the script. As an external feature, it is not 100% dependable. If some of the pages cannot be revealed. It is because it is missing some headers during the recording of the web steps.

 

Please give me a bit more time and I'll be back as soon as possible...

What version of Load-runner do you have?


Do you have full admin rights on the machine?

 

Do you have some troubles installing LR on the machine you created this script?


Did you disable DEP, UAC during the recording.?

I have found the following information of Analysis that said that the quality/resolution of the graph images in the PDF reports, generated in Analysis, depends upon OS and System Resolution.

 

This can be fixed by modifying the Resolution for the Graph images as follows:

 

In Analysis, Reports --> Report Templates

 

Select the template and "Generate Report"

 

Once the report is generated saved to the PDF format. In the Export Settings window, modify Settings --> Image Resolution to a higher value (recommended 300 dpi).

Issues while running Vugen Citrix Protocol from BPM

Hello all,

 

I have a Vugen script recorded using Citrix portocol, it is running fine from Vugen, but returning error while playing from BPM.  Vugen version is 11.52 and BPM is 9.23.

 

I tried executing from the command prompt and please find the errors i am getting

[HELP!] HP LoadRunner - Getting 'web_set_max_html_param_len’ error

Hi Experts,

 

Really need urgent help here.

I have an environment whereby customer is having Windows application to load testing with.  And it seems like the application is quite straight forward in which, at first i'm getting session key problem. Which i think i only need to correlate it? Refer Issue 1

Issue 1 (Issue1-SessionKey.rar) – Identified that there is session key responded from the server and it’s needed to correlate

 

Issue 2 (Issue2.rar) – Session key is correlated but getting ‘web_set_max_html_param_len’ error. Tried to increase the number to 1024 or even up to 9999, still giving the same error.

 

For reference, ‘VUGen_Script.rar’ contains the captured VUGen scripts. Protocol used is a combination of HTTP/HTML and Web Service protocols.
