In vugen 11.52 when creating a new script, I see vbscript vuser and javascript vuser.
But the same when I try creating a new script in vugen 12, I dont see vbscript vuser or javascript vuser.
Can somebody clarify how this can be accomplished in the new vugen 12...pls ....

We have a policy of discontinuing little-used protocols, whose maintenance doesn't justify the benefit of keeping them. So, JS Vuser and VBscript protocols have indeed been discontinued in version 12. This means that you can continue using your old scripts, but can't create new ones. In certain cases, we may bring the ability to create new scrips back for particular customers, but bear in mind that even if we do that, the protocols are no longer supported and we bear no responsibility for possible malfunctions.

Hi,
Those issues are related to the fact that in 11.52 we used two different executions modes of FF browser.
In interactive we used FF browser and in load mode Gecko (FF core). Apperntly in some specifc cases there were some differences between those two and from 12.00 we changed the architecture to avoid that (omitted Gecko).
My suggestion is to upgrade in order to benefit those changes.

In Internet Explorer:
Choose Tools > Internet Options. Select the Content tab and click Certificates.
Select a certificate from the list and click Export.
Click Next several times until you are prompted for a password.
Enter a password and click Next.
Enter a file name and click Next.
Click Finish
The resulting certificate file is in PKCS12 format. To convert the file to PEM format, use the openssl.exe utility located in the LoadRunner bin directory. To run the utility:
Run a DOS command window.
Set the current directory to the LoadRunner bin directory.
Type openssl pkcs12 -in <input_file> -out <output file.pem>
Enter the password you chose in the export process.
Enter a new password (it can be the same as before).
Enter the password again for verification.
In Recording Options > Port Mapping > check the option for "Use specified client side certificate" and point to the saved .pem file.
