Also it looks like the version of firefox under bin folder has automatically updated to latest version after running as admin.
When I manually start the firefox from bin folder, it throws the error that "this program is blocked by group policy".
Also, when I tried using the Truclient Ajax IE protocol, it crashes the moment I start click on record button

i have a truclient firefox script that i developed in vugen 12.02. the script has been working fairly well in BPM, but i need to make some changes to it.
i made the changes (added a wait for object step) and saved the script, even exited vugen. when i re-open the script, it displays the new script view in vugen, with the changes listed. but, when i click the Develop script button to view and replay the script, it shows the old script code! why would this be?

Which Vugen protocol supports Cloud SAP BusinessbyDesign. The web application is acccessed turough browser and uses Microsoft Silverlight. Does SAP Web protocol supports this , or some other protocol is to be used?

Are you talking about recording or replay?
No, such combinations are blocked, and for a good reason. MI Listener, by its nature, isn't supposed to be on the same machine as an LG.
Which LoadRunner protocol are you using?
Can you consistently reproduce this problem? Did you try the same on other Machine?
If it uses Silverlight, perhaps you should try using the Silverlight protocol.
i tried capture the response from the server i.e. the link where the file is saved.
i have captured in some variable.
i captured the link because it is having some dynamic values.
is there any way that i can pass that link in some script( or write some vb script code or function of lr) so that it will open that link and save the file in local.
We tried the below approach:
1. We tried scripting in the java1.6 version. The script was recorded in binary form and we faced problem while correlating.
2. We tried to record the scripts in multiprotocol and used different recording options like using serializable objects.
3. Used the jar files provided by the ADM team.
4. We also tried to set the classpath of java1.7 version, but even this approach didn’t help as we do not have admin rights to set the classpath.

Critical bugs should be fixed for free version as well, it might reflect poorly on the companies image :)
In the mean time:
1. Can we expect the hotfix to be included in the next release?
2. Will it be long till the next release (would love the hear an approx. date if possible)?

The only know reason of such behaviour is that Linux server ask user for something outside of RTE channel. E.g. terminal client show dialog asking user to accept or decline server certificate. As such dialog is not terminal input, VuGen don't record such input. On relay all non-RTE interactionsare hiden, so you need to press something to invisible dialog to allow script proceed.
Solution is run standalone version of PowerTerm terminal supplied with LR and resolve all conflicts before running VuGen again and record script. E.g. answer to dialog such way to apply certificate so terminal don't ask for it again. Or extract and apply that certificate manually. Standalone PowerTerm can be started by running "rtegate -bypass" command in <LR>\bin folder. Anyway it is good practice to run standalone PowerTerm, play you future script scenario resolvilng all potential problems and only than run VuGen to record script.

In my application, there is a header "key" which is sent for every web_url request. For example,
web_add_header("key","quwjkajhsiduyqiwhdkjhsduq")
web_url(.....
I created a correlation rule for capturing value of "key" but when i record/regenerate script, it does not replace value of key with correlation parameter. I am very sure that my rule is correct as i tested the rule. Please help on this.
This issue occured to me while recording an https application.
I checked the ssl cypher used for the application by clicking on the little icon on left of the url in chrome. I then selected the same ssl cypher in recording options - port mapping settings. This resolved the issue.
