The error is reproducable on regeneration of scripts. How do I send this to HPE RND or you? the file is 3MB (zipped), is there an FTP site I can upload it to.
I cannot see how to create a ticket on the support site as I do not have a SAID, I am currently in the PoC stage to see if LoadRunner works, if it does we will then buy the appropriate license.

Hi Dmitry, thanks for the reply.
The application is bult in Oracle Forms with a 2 tier architecture. Maybe I am wrong, but the protocol advicsor from VuGen suggested Oracle 2 Tier.
Anyway, I tried with both protocols you mentioned but the result was the same.

Currently we are working in a Citrix Application and we have created the scripts in LR12.01 and replaying in the LR 12.01.
Our scripts contains bitmap synchronization functions. When we try to replay the scripts from LG machines, the bitmap function fails randomly for multiple iterations as LR gnerates different bitmap values for the same image or Texts displayed in the screen and sync on bitmaps are necessary in the scripts, as all of the business scenarios happens in a single window and hence we are dependent on bitmaps
(For Instance: Bitmap hash value for "Save" is different for 2 iterations)
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

We have Created the Citrix scripts in VuGen (12.01) and replayed it on same computer with no errors in the Vugen and also in the Controller using localhost as LG. However, when running the scenario from controller with a load generator as a different machine by mapping the IP address of that machine, it will error out when the script attempts to launch the citrix application.
We tried with "-lr_citrix_vuser_view" in the Command Line field in Controller settings. After that, when viewing the replay from controller, we see that the ICA window is closing after the test has been initiated. Also we came to know that the processes mdrv and wfica processes are getting terminated after starting the test from controller.
We are getting this error "CCI security error You are running under secure mode and lr_save_timestamp is not allowed in this mode"
We tried with "-cancel_security_mode" in the Command Line field in Controller settings and then the script is initialized and failed in Bitmap sync.
How to Cancel the security mode of LGs without the use command line ?
Note : The LG is being run as a process, with vuser running over firewall enabled and all the LGs has the LR tool and Citrix Receiver with same version.
Please let us know your comment on this issue.

Many thanks to JürgenHe, as his steps allowed me to get through this 403 error! I was first using TruClient but I couldn't reach the number of concurrent users required.
To add my 2 cents, you don't need to correlate boundary=batch_xxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
Personally I created a random number parameter with the following number format:
batch_%08lu
I have create one for each OData $batch request which seeds a new number every iteration.

The best approach is to use proxy recording, or create a script from a PCAP file

Hi HP support,
Since last night, I am having issue with running Controller product in HP LoadRunner version 12.50.
While loading, LoadRunner opens a dialog where next message is displayed: "There is no valid licence. To renew licence, contact HP Software's Customer Support".
I have tried to repair LoadRunner instalation by running Repair option in installer and also running command below didn't help (I found that suggestion on another thread):
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\LoadRunner\bin\LRWrapper.dll"
This is very strange as community 50vusers licence is active and also we have Global VUD licence that expires on 19th Nov 2016th (see attached image). From today, this Global VUD licence is shown as invalid (!?) (attached image).
Could you please tell me why licence now shows as invalid and how to start Controller again?

under Web HTTP/HTML section it says: "A protocol enabling you to develop scripts using mobile devices or mobile device emulators communicating with servers over HTTP".
Mobile device emulators should be installed on Client side machines(like laptop) or do we need to have Mobile phone, install the emulator, record the sceanrio, zip the file and open the in Vugen on laptop?
I am going through the online doucmentation ,but still not clear on how to start the scripting for Mobile devices. I am looking some thing like details steps on where to begin with scripting.
Client is based on SAP application and i guess SMP protocol will be prefered as client server communication. I did not use this protocol before and when i refer the HP documentation on SMP protocol, it is mentioned as script recording is disabaled and we need to "Add the location of the SAP.Mobile.LoadRunner.dll"
Generated .cs files can include objects from external .dlls. To successfully replay the script, include a reference to these .dlls in Runtime Settings > .NET > Shared DLLs.
How and from where we can get the DLLs?

Hello,
First you need to understand the architrcture and the underlying protocol of your mobile application.. If it uses HTTP (like 99%) of mobile apps, you can simply use proxy recording mode. Proxy recording is much simpler than using an emulator. You just use VuGen as a proxy, configured mobile device to work with it, and all the communicatio nfrom mobile devices goes through VuGen and thus is being recorded. Re: SMP - this protocol is relevant only if indeed your app is based on SMP framework. Not every SAP app is based on SMP, you need to know what communication protocol is being used to record it (again, in most cases it's HTTP). In case of SMP, the script recording is provided by SMP and not by LR, and therefore I've provided SAP links. Hello All,
I am working on a script where the ordinal of one of the correlated values changes every iteration. One iteration the necessary value may be ordinal=27...next iteration the ordinal=11...next iteration oridinal=13. Is there a way to capture the exact value needed? It is a very "weird' application because the left/right boundaries change as well so I cannot extend the left/right boundaries to be captured. I am using loadrunner 12.53 with Windows 7. Thanks to anyone in advance for their help.
