How are you recording your mobile app? If you're seeing binary data (as it seems you are judging by your client request above) you're probably having certificate issues.
If you're recording via proxy (or via .pcap file), you're going to have certificate issues until you install a root certificate. In fact, you're very likely going to have cert issues no matter what when doing mobile testing.
