I too face the same issue.
When tried one of the above solution, I am uanble to find:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Mercury Interactive
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Jet\4.0\engines\text
so that to give full control in registry settings
