i am trying to record an web bases app but Neither IE or Chrome is getting invoked by LR 12.02 i have tried Disabling DEP and have changed recording option settings.
But nothing is happening

Is there any way to see Vusers runtime behaviour in controller section
I ran 50 Vusers in controller and every Vuers elasped time is different and I used parametrization (file of 400 keywords), allocate 8 keywords to each vuser..so how do i know why perticuler Vuser taking this much time to run.

We are getting errror in the Loadrunner Vu genrator11.5 with SAP GUI Protocol for the version SAP 740 to a Load generator on a VM Server that is 24 GB And 8 core and we have 1 app server in the landscape for the below errors

Load testing for a browser with disable web security
Hi,
I want to record a application which only opens in chrome when web security feature is disabled.
However when i am trying to record the app from loadrunner, it is not opening the browser with web security feature disabled, it is only opening chrome in normal mode.
Is there a way i can open the chrome with web security feature diabled and record the app

As far as I know there are no open source monitoring tools that colaborate with HP Loadrunner.
The HP Loadrunner controller offers already a lot of monitoring options.
Per example: you can monitor Windows system from the controller through Windows WMI.
If you have a controller under support at HP, then you may also use HP SiteScope for Loadrunner free of charge.
Per controller you can aquire 2000 HP SiteScope for Loadrunner monitoring points for free.
With HP SiteScope for Loadrunner you are able to monitor Linux, Weblogic etc.
You see a lot of options available.

HP Analysis tool gives SQL query error during report generation
I am facing an issue where sometimes during report generation I get an error - 'SQL query produced by analysis server is invalid'. I am not able to create the report due to this.

This log message seems to vary.
What I have also observed is that for tests in which I get this error, there is no folder for that test in controller.
C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\Performance Center Host\orchidtmp\Results\
For all the other runs there is a result folder with the run id name. Now I'm not sure if these incidents are related.
Also, I download the rawresults from ALM. No matter what I get the rawresults.zip file in ALM.

I wish I read this thread early, so it would give me the hint and save me lot of time. In my case, everything else is same, but the file I had to replace is the cert8.db file in the same folder. BTW, I didn't need to replace the cert_override.txt file.
this work around works, so I don't need to re-record entire script, but I'm thinking there should be a way to import the certificates, how the cert8 file gets created in the first place?

Loadrunner User-Interface and DPI settings on Windows 7
Hi,
I'm using the Loadrunner suite on Windows 7 Professional and - since I'm on a 13.3 inch laptop - I use to have a 125% font size.
This setting have an impact on Loadrunner suite (buttons are hided by the interface size, text is bigger and so on) and I would like to know if there is any setting that could be overwritten.

Mouse events were not working in RTE protocol.
Hi Team,
We have used the RTE protocol to record the application in LR 11.52, here we used the Humming Bird tool to record the events. We are able to successfully logging out the application by typing command . For logging out the Humming bird sesssion we need to use the mouse events. click on File-> Exit. But those events are not recognizing while recording.
Is there any solution to resolve this type of issue. Please help me to overcome this.

Continue to this thread, we definitely need to find a way to import the certificate to the cert8.db file.
In my case, I have a load balancer and there are multiple servers behind it, the script may hit a different server each time, then the server returns with different certificate, the cert8.db created by the work around only contains 1 server certificate, I need to find a way to import all certificates to the cert8.db file, so that no matter which server the script connects to, it will NOT get the security warning, which eventually errors out the script.
Anyone had simular experience?
