It looks from the screenshot that you're using a very old LoadRunner version, which is no longer supported. Which version is it? The earliest supported version at the moment is 11.50, but i suggest upgrading to the latest and gratest, i.e. 12.02.

Here're some suggestions:
1. If you have an anti-virus software running, try disabling it
2. If you have add-ons installed on top of your browser, try disabling them
3. Try recording with FireFox
4. If nothing helps, try an alternative recording technique called "local proxy recording"

RTE protocol recognize only events generated by PowerTerm terminal related to RTE protocol, that is console events. RTE is not recognize any events generated by other software as well as any UI events.
If you need to record application generated UI events, you need to choose other protocol, e.g. Citrix or RDP.

I'm actually having the same issue with some of scripts, did you get resolve the case?, it seems the dynamic values have to be correlated. But in my case there are more than 100 values per script. DBA team is working on find out the problem with the migration that is generating this dynamic values during scripting because this have never happened in the past with old scripts.
I was wondering if someone from this community can know about this issues.

Once we use LoadRunner to insert data into Virtual Table Server, we would like to check two things remotely:
1. Which ports are currently opened on the VTS?
2. How many rows of data are there per instance/port?
I thought one way of getting this done was to create an SQL query, but can I do this outside of LoadRunner? Can I connect to VTS with SQL from C# or any other way?

I want to include the steps which did not execute in the Test for some reason as part of the Report(HTML), currently only those steps which executed(Failed or passed) are part of the Report.Is there a way to customize and have those steps which did not execute during the test as part of the Report.

Please note that the web_reg_save_param API looks for the value in the next response. In the code you attached, you are trying to register a web_reg_save_param parameter, and use it on the following request.
You should place the web_reg_save_param before the step that you get the dynamic value in the response, and then send it like you did in the web_submit_data step.

I had the TCS stopped working issue starting last week after a security update for MIcrosoft Windows was installed. HP support advised that I remove the security update KB3038314 and reboot. This resolved the issue.
